Some of us were brave enough to take on a mile long handcart trek. Nauvoo is absolutely beautiful. This is the very start of the trek. I love all the trees and everything is so green. I would totally move there in a hot second. 
So I'm not sure where to begin explaining the trek. There was much crying. Maybe I'll just leave it at that. It definitely was a bit harder then I thought it would be. It rained the night before and was really muddy, but it was really fun. Fun in a "Glad I live in this century" sort of way.
