Julie

Alrighty. Julie's turn for an update. So I've been busy busy with Leelou stuff. I'll talk about that one day when I have time, but know it is fun. And keeps me busy and up far too late.

This pregnancy is flying by. Partly because I have 3 kids to chase around and partly because I have some killer meds that make me not feel like dying all day.
I've been feeling great and am steadily gaining far too much weight. I get braxton hicks pretty much all the live long  day and her feet are constantly blocking my ribs and airway, but I can't complain because I'm not withering on the bathroom floor. So bring on the heartburn! I'll take it over being sick any day.

I keep waiting for this nesting phase to hurry and kick in, but as of now I am the opposite of nesting. I have no energy to move. I do look around my house all day and imagine the things I would love to get done. Then I usually eat another popsicle, take a nap and pretend that I'll do it later.

The one thing I wasn't expecting was to get all hot and swollen. I've never been pregnant in the summer and figured it would be fine. Well it's not. Seriously. Don't be 9 months pregnant in July. It's not fun. I would post a picture of my feet and ankles at the end of the day as proof of this fact, but you might gasp in horror. And then dry heave.

Just know that I look like Aunt Marge.

Speaking of Harry Potter...I'm one of the 12 people on earth who have never really seen the movies before. Potter failure right here. Last week Jeremy and I watched a movie every night so I could get all caught up and we could go watch the last one in the theater. I actually liked them a lot more then I thought I would. Every time I saw Snape I said in my head "Why a spoon cousin?" and then I laughed and laughed. And wished that my sisters were there. Cause apparently that's not funny to most people.

Anyway, back to baby business....I'll be induced again with this baby because my babies are fat. And bad things happen that are unblogable to speak of. And having tiny little Dane was the most amazing thing ever. Small babies rule. I could be induced on July 31st, but that's a Sunday. So as of now this baby will come rain or shine on Monday August 1st. Which means we've got 2 weeks of rearranging furniture, walking and jumping on trampolines to see if she'll come early. I won't hold my breath though. It's probably a good thing if she doesn't come early as I don't have a single thing ready for her. I did buy binky's, which is kind of sad now that I think about it. All the things I have to do and get ready and I buy the one thing that will make her stay quiet. I'll blame that on the insanity of having 4 kids in 6 years. Don't judge me.

I don't really take pictures of myself pregnant cause again...Aunt Marge...but here is a glimpse of my roundness. And that is all you get for now.

Well hello there

Hi there. Remember me? Well it turns out I'm a little busy. So there will be no spectacular Macdonald update today. Again.  Just know that we are well. Jeremy is done with school, I am getting chubbier every day and the kids wont stop talking. But they're cute most of the time. So that's ok. Usually.

Today I did wanted to tell you that I'm throwing another baby shower on Leelou Blogs and I'm having a couple photo contests. If you want to enter your cute kids I would highly encourage it. Mostly because we have some sweet prizes.

We have one basic photo contest for kids under 3 and then another photo contest where you can win a photoshoot with the one and only Peekaboo photos. I've raved about them before and if you live in or go to UT often, you should enter to win this contests because Peekaboo photos is seriously amazing. Plus you could get to be on the cover of The Barrel, which is the mother of all blog magazines.

And I'm a little sad that I can't win. But you can. And I'm so not judging the pictures, so I don't care who enters.  Click here to submit your adorable pictures.  You only have until Friday though. Good luck to you my friends.

What's it gonna be??

So of all my post procrastinating, I guess I should get this one out there first. We finally found out last week what we're having. The suspense is killing you I'm sure.

At least we didn't have to go through this again.

Whoa Mama

It's almost my birthday. And I feel old. Ten years ago I couldn't fathom being "old". 30 year-olds were ancient. Now I'm going to be 28. We have children. We have a house. And I just got life insurance, which practically makes me a senior citizen.
I feel like I'm still in high school. And usually act like it too. So this is all very confusing to me.

Anyway...I've been reflecting on my 20's and I've had a very busy decade.

When I was 20 I got married:

When I was 21 I got pregnant:

And now when I'm 28 I will have yet another baby.

I think when I am 29 we are going to get a puppy. And call it good.

Blog? What blog?

So I know I haven't been very good at posting on the good ol' blog lately. Nothing too exciting has happened around here. I actually haven't taken a picture of my kiddos all month. I'm bad. All I have to talk about is my ever growing belly.

I've been able to eat lately which has been a nice change. I tried to ween myself off my drugs, but my body really didn't like that idea and told me it wasn't ready by leaving me on the bathroom floor for 3 days straight. So I'm totally cool with living off these drugs for another 4 months. Whatever lets me eat! The other day I was at the store and saw a serving plate for deviled eggs. I instantly knew I wouldn't be able to function until I had my chubby little hands on them! I called my mom and begged her to make me some but she said she couldn't until that night. The rejection made my craving even worse. So I came home and made myself 24 of the most amazing deviled eggs I've ever inhaled. They were so good I didn't even care about the smell.

I've been having loads of braxton hicks again too, but luckily not enough where they have to put me on bed rest yet.
When we had the ultrasound they had us see the ultrasound specialist instead of just a tech to make sure that this baby didn't have his insides all funky like Kelson. When we had the 20 week ultrasound with Kelson and found out about his kidney, they also told us everything under the sun that he "probably" had. Everything from Down syndrome to a clef lip from heart problems to autism. It totally freaked us out. So this whole pregnancy I wonder if every little thing I do is messing up this kiddos insides. We were getting kind of nervous for this ultrasound, but luckily he is good to go! No problems at all!

Some more good news is that Brynlie has finally accepted her new brother. We had a talk on how she is the only princess now and that sold her. But every time she says she is going to have a baby brother she has to add in there that she is going to get a sister next time. Hopefully she's right!

Actually, the way this pregnancy is going, who knows if there is going to be a next time. I'm taking any and all surrogate requests. Don't be shy, just leave a comment and let me know that you'd love to carry my baby for 9 months or so. I'll hook you up with some sweet deviled eggs.

Oye!

Us Macdonald's can't go a week without a new adventure.....or a trip to the Doctor.
Brynlie and Kelson got a nasty virus in their eyes. They would get so goopy they couldn't even open them. It was pretty nasty so we had to take them in to get some more drugs to add to our pharmacy. Kelson is apparently allergic to what they gave us so he got to sport another cute little dotted rash all over for a few days.

Kelson wanted to make the doctor trip worth his time, so when Brynlie took the cushion off the hide-a-bed couch, he got his foot stuck down in it and then fell forwards off the couch. Jeremy was convinced his leg was in pieces. He couldn't walk or stand up so we had to swing by the hospital on the way home from the Dr's office for an x-ray. Thus motherhood of a boy begins. Luckily it wasn't broken. He couldn't stand up or walk for a few days, but now he's just fine.

And this is a representation of my life this last week. Just add a couple pillows on the ground and a big box of saltines. I'm definitely rethinking how many kids I want. Jeremy starts school on Tuesday. I'm going to cry all week. Have I mentioned how much I love being pregnant? Why can't we just carry around a little egg and wait for it to hatch? I'd be so much better at that.

This kiddo was a bit of a surprise. I just think about having another baby and I turn up pregnant. I'm only 9 weeks along and this time I didn't plan on telling anyone til I was at least 4 months, but that is just impossible for 3 reasons.
#1 The biggest give away is that I haven't been able to go to church or leave the house/bathroom in 3 weeks and people are starting to question.
#2 Jeremy is so giddy that it's pure torture for him to keep this a secret. We found out.... had the talk on keeping things hush hush....and about 12 minutes later he was tellin his buddies.
#3 Brynlie announced to everyone in Sacrament meeting that I was having a baby girl named Buzz Light Year, which lit the fire that spread through the town in a matter of hours.
So as with all my pregnancies thus far, it's impossible to keep such news a secret. Oh well. Suprise! ....I'm gonna go vomit now.

Yowsa!

Tummy hugs and braces

I haven't been very good at updating our blog lately, but we haven't had anything really exciting going on. I finally took a picture of my belly though. Jeremy didn't turn on the flash so none of them really turned out, but here's Brynlie giving me "tummy hugs". She loves to wake up her "baby bruder" every morning to feel and talk to him. He's supposed to weigh about 4 1/2 pounds by now, but on our ultra sound on Monday they said he weighs 6 1/2 pounds! He'll be a big boy. That's ok though. We like them big. I've been feeling pretty good lately, but I'm super tired and super starving all the time! I don't really crave anything in particular, but if I see something on TV or hear someone talk about certain things, I go crazy and have to have them right then!! Lately it's anything with meat or chocolate. Eww, or black licorice....mmmm that sounds good.

To change the subject completely, Jeremy finally got his braces off a few weeks ago after almost 3 years!! He loves it and says the best part is that he can eat apples without having to cut them up first. Lookin good Daddyo!

Trying to tell us something??

Kelson's latest ultrasound today, he was desperately trying to eat his fist. Luckily we got a quick shot of him sticking his tongue out. We get ultrasounds every week now to check up on his fluid and his kidney so it's really cool to watch him grow and get fatter every week. He looks so much like Brynlie to us lately. Everybody keeps saying they want me to put a picture of my belly on here. I will. I'm really bad. I'm already 8 months pregnant and I still haven't taken a single picture. I will soon though, I promise. Jaime and I have to hurry and get some pictures together before one of us pops.

This is an ultrasound of my sisters baby. She is due the week before me so this pictures is several months old, but I think it's so stinkin funny. This is gangsta' Macie showin us her junk in the trunk.

Fatso #2

OK, so I know I said I would take it easy on the ultrasound pictures, but I just can't get enough of them! We got these 2 yesterday. The first one is him sucking his thumb and the other one is of his fat little face. He's gotten so much chubbier since last month. If you look close you can see that his eyes are open. It was really cool watching him on the monitor cause we could see him blinking. Anyway, I thought they were cool. Kind of blurry but cool. They told us he is measuring quiet big for his age (surprise surprise) and that he has a full head of hair. We can't wait to see for ourselves!!

New family pictures :)

Ok, so I know what you're thinking....enough with the confusing ultrasound pictures. But these ones are so cute. And you don't need the Urim and Thumim to figure them out. The first one is of his nose and lips. The second is obviously his face.

Who does he look like most?? Yeah we don't think he looks like any of us either.

New kiddo

Here are the latest pictures of our little boy. He was moving so much that it was hard to get a good shot that wasn't fuzzy. Hopefully you can make out his face.

New Baby

Here's our new little kiddo. These were taken a couple months ago. I was measuring big again and the Dr. thought I might be having twins, so we went in for an ultrasound to make sure there was just one in there. One big one. I'm feeling great compared to when I was pregnant with Brynlie. I'm just a lot bigger than I was with her and I started getting Braxton hicks at about 4 months which is kinda scary. We get to find out what were having on Feb. 13th, so expect more pictures.
