Julie and the Terrible Horrible No Good Day

The other day I attempted to tackle the tornado that touched down in Brynlie's room. Unfortunately she wasn't up for it. Actually quiet the opposite. Apparently they make dolls really heavy nowadays. Brynlie kept complaining how bad it hurt her back to pick them up and put them away. So the crying and misery lasted an hour or so before I gave up and moved on to lunch. Five minutes into it, Dane started crying cause he wanted to eat right then too. Kelson got in his chair and started yelling for his food while Brynlie ran circles around the table singing songs from Enchanted. My ears were ringing as I tried to wipe peanut butter on bread with one hand and hold and feed Dane with the other. Before I could get one piece of bread done, Brynlie started screaming because she got her head stuck between the dinning room chairs. While squirming to get out she pinched Kelsons fingers with the chairs. Dane heard both of his siblings screaming and wanted to stop eating and join in too. After looking around helplessly, wanting to scream, I just started to laugh out loud. I pried Brynlies fat head out, kissed Kelsons fingers and just kept thinking how badly I would miss this some day. My babies are growing up so fast it hurts me. I love these kiddos so much and am so glad to be their mom. They make me so grateful for my Mom and my favorite mom-in-law for enduring all the craziness Jeremy and I created when we were younger. (Well, mostly Jeremy ;). If you ever miss any of it, just come over any day from 11:00-1:00. You're sure to get your fill.

Brynlie is obsessed with prayers. They have to be said constantly through out the day. Lately every meal we have, she teaches Kelson how to say them. She'll say the words really slow so he can repeat her. Cutest thing ever.
