Oye!

Us Macdonald's can't go a week without a new adventure.....or a trip to the Doctor.
Brynlie and Kelson got a nasty virus in their eyes. They would get so goopy they couldn't even open them. It was pretty nasty so we had to take them in to get some more drugs to add to our pharmacy. Kelson is apparently allergic to what they gave us so he got to sport another cute little dotted rash all over for a few days.

Kelson wanted to make the doctor trip worth his time, so when Brynlie took the cushion off the hide-a-bed couch, he got his foot stuck down in it and then fell forwards off the couch. Jeremy was convinced his leg was in pieces. He couldn't walk or stand up so we had to swing by the hospital on the way home from the Dr's office for an x-ray. Thus motherhood of a boy begins. Luckily it wasn't broken. He couldn't stand up or walk for a few days, but now he's just fine.

And this is a representation of my life this last week. Just add a couple pillows on the ground and a big box of saltines. I'm definitely rethinking how many kids I want. Jeremy starts school on Tuesday. I'm going to cry all week. Have I mentioned how much I love being pregnant? Why can't we just carry around a little egg and wait for it to hatch? I'd be so much better at that.

This kiddo was a bit of a surprise. I just think about having another baby and I turn up pregnant. I'm only 9 weeks along and this time I didn't plan on telling anyone til I was at least 4 months, but that is just impossible for 3 reasons.
#1 The biggest give away is that I haven't been able to go to church or leave the house/bathroom in 3 weeks and people are starting to question.
#2 Jeremy is so giddy that it's pure torture for him to keep this a secret. We found out.... had the talk on keeping things hush hush....and about 12 minutes later he was tellin his buddies.
#3 Brynlie announced to everyone in Sacrament meeting that I was having a baby girl named Buzz Light Year, which lit the fire that spread through the town in a matter of hours.
So as with all my pregnancies thus far, it's impossible to keep such news a secret. Oh well. Suprise! ....I'm gonna go vomit now.

Well...no need for an ultrasound to find out whether it's a boy or girl...Miss Brynlie has already announced it. AND....no need to worry about a name since she has decided on Buzz Lightyear. Gosh, half the work is done...the rest will be so easy!!HAAAA!! Hope each day gets a little easier. Love you guys!!!!!

  6. Julie, you are my hero! I am tappin' out at two kids, and I have never puked once. My problem is I can't handle crumbs on the floor (I vacuum honestly six times a day), and I can't handle toys being strewn willy nilly about the house. You are the best!!!

  7. I am embarrassed to have a sister that says willy nilly. Just kidding Tory. Love you. But Julie, girl, you getting put through the ringer it sounds like. But you know, if you have the right attitude, you will find nothing but joy in motherhood......Okay, that's a load of crap! Sometimes it just sucks and hurts all at the same time, but it is worth it. Just remember that everytime your puking, "this is soooo worth it!" I mean, seriously, look at how cute your kids are. Let me know if I can help in anyway!

  8. Awesome! Buzz is a great name! Sevy was to be named "Rainbow Sunshine Princess" according to my neice, but Buzz is way less Hippie! Congrats! We need to get the other girls having more babies--we can't do it all ourselves! I hope the puking stops soon.

  9. This made me laugh! This shouldn't make me laugh, because my pregnancies are exactly the same-- puking my guts out for like 7 months -- but for some reason, your description of it makes me feel better about the whole idea. And I can't ever keep it a secret either-- for the same reasons.

Anyway, I'm so excited for you!

  10. Julie!! Of course I remember who you are. This is so weird. I was just telling my husband that I was randomly wondering about you a couple of days ago. Crazy. And crazy about the Nauvoo house! I totally stayed in the same room. The one upstairs with the two beds, right? So funny! Your family is adorable! I am so glad you wrote. We will have to keep in touch.

  11. congrats you guys!! I'm sorry you are so sick. I can totally sympathize with you. Are you craving anything yet or does pretty much everything just repulse you? I still remember right before I had Maggie and I was eating poptarts by the box and you were kind enough to bring me some!

  12. is that his x-ray picture? is it just me, or does the bone look broken where his shin is? guess that's why i'm not an x-ray tech...
