The pig

So it's no surprise to some that I totally don't want animals. I like them...I just don't want them. It's hard enough for me to clean up poop and hair from my own kids. I don't want to do it from a stinky animal too. Jeremy and I used to agree on this fully, but lately Jeremy has desperately been wanting an animal for the kids. We agreed that one day when we had room outside we could get a dog, but then he surprised us all with this little gem.

A lady that works with Jeremy showed up and gave him this guinea pig the other day. Little does she know she'll probably be getting him right back in a few days. The kids do love it. Jeremy likes it more then them if possible. I on the other hand still haven't touched it. It's a touchy subject so we'll leave it at that. This may be the first and last pictures you see of "Benny"......(hopefully)
And lately Kelson will go get the camera and make me take pictures of him. This is his new "heese" face he makes. He's such a funny boy. He's the only one with permission to poop and stink all he wants and get away with it.

  1. I knew Jeremy in college and have been in contact with a lot of college friends lately and got to thinking of him. Your family is absolutely adorable!

Please tell Jeremy I said hello...and Merry Christmas to your beautiful family.

  3. Pets aren't so bad. Miley watches McKenna for us sometimes and lets us know if she gets into stuff she isn't supposed to. But I will say, the fur is a lot to keep up with - that is why I have a very expensive vaccuum and we vaccuum everyday!

  6. Julie can't even call the thing by it's name. She says if she uses his name, she may become attached to it. He's officially part of the fam. Brynlie prays for him everyday. There's no getting rid of him now.

  7. I can't believe that you are now owners of a guinea pig! It's true, there's no getting rid of him now. Oh my. I'm not a pet person either.
